Terms and Conditions in Our Water Restoration Company
Acceptance of Terms
By using our website, https://waterdamagerestorationdesototx.com/, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms create a binding agreement between you and DeSoto Damage Pros. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you should not use our website or services.
We may update these Terms at any time. When we post revisions, they become effective immediately. Your continued use of the website after any updates means you accept the revised Terms. Please check this page regularly for the latest version of our agreement.
Services
DeSoto Damage Pros offers professional property restoration services, including cleanup and repairs related to water, fire, and mold damage. Services begin with an on site assessment to determine the scope of work needed. We often use third party vendors and specialized subcontractors to complete certain parts of the job.
Please note that the availability of specific services and the time needed to complete a project can vary greatly based on the damage severity, site conditions, and your location within DeSoto, Texas. We will clearly define the scope before work begins.
Quotes, Billing, and Payment
We provide a written estimate, which is our best assessment of the costs. This estimate is not a final invoice. The final invoice may differ if the scope of work changes or if hidden issues are discovered. You will be notified of any major change orders before they are performed. We may require a deposit before starting work.
We accept several acceptable payment methods, which will be specified on the invoice. Balances are due upon completion unless a payment plan is agreed upon in advance. Late balances may result in fees. You must notify us of any billing dispute within 15 days of receiving the invoice.
Insurance and Claims Assistance
DeSoto Damage Pros can help you by providing required documentation, job photos, and reports to your insurance company. We aim to assist the claims process as much as possible. However, the approval of your claim, the decision to pay, and the amount of payment are entirely independent decisions made by your insurance company.
We do not guarantee that your insurer will approve your claim or cover the full cost of the restoration work. You remain responsible for all costs not covered by your insurer.
Scheduling, Access, and Site Conditions
You must provide us with safe and timely access to the property during agreed upon access windows for the work to be performed. You are responsible for ensuring that necessary utilities, such as electricity and water, are active. Work may pause if we encounter unexpected hazardous conditions, large pets that restrict movement, or unsupervised minors in the work area.
You must obtain any required permissions from property owners, landlords, or homeowners associations before we begin work. If we cannot access the site, it may result in delays or rescheduling fees.
Health and Safety
Our teams follow strict health and safety standards. Our personnel are trained to IICRC industry standards where applicable. We use necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), containment barriers, and negative air setups to protect the rest of the property during remediation.
We use EPA registered disinfectants and antimicrobial agents where appropriate to sanitize affected areas. We comply with all relevant local and state health and safety rules while working within DeSoto, Texas. We maintain a safe working environment to protect our workers and your family.
Customer Responsibilities
To ensure the best outcome, you must meet certain responsibilities. You must remove all valuables and fragile items from the work area when requested by our team. You must disclose any known preexisting issues, such as prior mold growth or hidden damage, before work starts.
You and anyone on site must follow all safety instructions given by our crew, especially regarding containment areas. You must also cooperate by maintaining the drying guidance, such as keeping doors and windows closed to allow equipment to work properly.
Warranties and Disclaimers
DeSoto Damage Pros provides a limited warranty covering our workmanship for a specific period, which will be detailed in your service agreement. This warranty does not cover damage caused by preexisting conditions, normal wear and tear over time, hidden structural issues we could not see, future acts of nature, or failures of equipment or repairs made by a third party.
Our liability is limited to the work we performed. We do not guarantee outcomes due to the unpredictable nature of property damage and restoration.
Limitation of Liability
If DeSoto Damage Pros is found liable for any loss or damage, our liability will be limited to the amount you actually paid for the specific service that caused the issue. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
This includes, but is not limited to, lost revenue, lost profits, or emotional distress resulting from your use or inability to use our services or website. We do not accept liability for preexisting damage or conditions.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed job, you must notify DeSoto Damage Pros as soon as possible. Nonemergency work cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover our preparation costs.
Emergency services are handled differently. If you request emergency services and then cancel after our crews have been dispatched, you may be billed for the emergency response fee. We reserve the right to cancel or pause work due to safety concerns.
